Undisciplining: Conversations from the Edges

The Sociological Review would like to thank SAGE for sponsoring 10 places for Early Career Researchers and Postgraduate Research Students at the main conference.

Thanks for the generosity of SAGE, The Sociological Review is please to announce that we have 10 free places for our forthcoming conference Undisciplining: Conversations from the Edges, 19-21st June 2018, The Baltic, Gateshead, UK.

The 10 free places are available for unfunded postgraduate research students*, Early Career Researchers (within 3 years of being awarded their PhD). Applications for a free place are open to those ECRs and PGRs attending only. You will be expected to attend the full 2.5 days of the conference.

Please note, that those awarded a free place will personally responsible for organising their own overnight accommodation, travel and evening dinners for the night of the 20th June.

A free place will be given on a first come first serve basis for those that meet the eligibility criteria and have demonstrated sufficiently why they would like to attend the conference.

Successful applicants will receive an email confirmation that they have been awarded a free place.

These places are likely to be snapped up fast! So, you are advised to apply as soon as possible in order not to be disappointed.

* Please note that we consider unfunded students who are not in receipt of scholarships or bursaries from research councils or individual institutions to support their studies.

*Please note, that you cannot receive more than one of the following awards in the same year: a free place at Undisciplining, a place at the ECR writing retreat or the ECR conference funding award from The Sociological Review.
